Man Gets Four Years For Killing Bunnies

I found this this morning.  I thought I would post it.  I can't see why someone would want to hurt a little bunny.  As we all know, they are just too cute.

Bunny needs to lose

Dear Audra,  How do you help a bunny lose weight? I'm not talking a big fat bunny, just a bun who is a little hefty.  We are a family who loves to give snacks. He does get time to run around and play with the cat, but mostly he is in a cage.  Randominities

Dear Randominities,
First, I think your little guy needs more time out of his cage.  Go buy a puppy playpen, I had one for Oreo.  You put him in it, with a littler box, some toys, and boxes and tubes to play in.  The idea is that you put things inside that will keep him active.  I have included a system that you can find a top for.  If you are worried about the cat and the bunny, then put the pen in a room, I would recommend you don’t put in a room with carpet and also put something under it so that the bunny doesn’t ruin your floors, I learned that the hard way.  Either ones of these is being forced on you, this is so you have an idea what I’m talking about.

Second, since you didn’t tell me what type of treats, I can’t tell you if they are healthy for him or not.  If you are buying pre-made things from the stores, I would cut back on those.  They are too high in sugar.  Try giving him some apples or bananas, but don’t go crazy.  Even too much of the fruits are a bad thing.  I would suggest you treat him with some romaine lettuce, bell pepper, and/or a carrot, which you can hang from the top of his cage.  With these you aren’t adding too much sugar.

I hope that helps.

Audra
